From March 14th to 20th, we had the opportunity to dock just steps away from the White House at the Wharf Marina, providing an opportunity to showcase our solutions to American decision-makers! On board, we hosted over 200 people, including a large delegation from the U.S. Department of Energy led by the energetic Sunita Satyapal, nicknamed the 'godmother of energy,' as well as the Ambassador of France to the United States and several journalists, professionals, and future decision-makers !

“A magnificent stopover under the Washington sun amidst the cherry blossom season! Beyond the perfect photographic snapshot, we had the great pleasure of welcoming over 200 people, including political and economic decision-makers (Department of Energy, White House, NASA, The World Bank...), academics (Johns Hopkins...), representatives from our partners (Toyota, ACCOR Group, Air Liquide, ...) to raise awareness about the necessity of developing solutions to reduce our dependence on carbon-based energies. Additionally, to showcase the existence of effective solutions already available, such as those deployed onboard.”
A major stopover for Energy Observer in a country preparing to elect its future president. The United States, the world's second-largest energy consumer after China, occupies a central position on the energy scene. The Biden administration has adopted a historic €360 billion plan to reduce the country's CO2 emissions by 40%, with debates ranging between energy reality and ecological roadmap.
Despite being committed to an ambitious policy to reduce its carbon emissions, the country remains the world's largest producer of gas and oil and the second-largest emitter of greenhouse gases globally.
