Energy Observer and Qair share a common ambition: accelerate the energy transition.
Becoming an Official Partner of a technological, innovative and human project was an obvious move for an international and versatile company such as Qair, committed to the study and preservation of the marine environment in which it operates.
Founded more than 30 years ago by a former merchant navy captain, Qair is an independent producer of renewable energy with 1GW of assets in operation and under construction. Its 300 employees develop in Europe, Brazil, Africa and Asia onshore and offshore solar and wind projects, hydroelectric projects and green hydrogen production projects.
Qair is a pioneer in floating wind energy, developer of the first French Eolmed pilot farm, winner of a 2GW offshore wind farm in Scotland in 2022, bidder in the South Brittany offshore wind tender, and developer of a tidal turbine pilot project in Raz Blanchard.
Qair will bring to the project its international vision and its multi-local approach to specific territories with varied resources, as well as its expertise in the development of responsible energy production ecosystems.
